About This Session:
This Melbourne in home and Fitzroy Gardens newborn session was pure bliss! My heart was filled with joy when this sweet family reached out enquiring about a film session. Film is my absolute passion and it gives me such joy to serve families with imagery using this stunning photography format.
It was a very warm and cloudy spring morning. After taking some light filled in home photos, we headed across the road to the Fitzroy Gardens. Strolling through the beautiful gardens, chatting about how those first few weeks of bringing a baby home can feel like a whirlwind. Sometimes having photos taken in the first few weeks is not always possible. I can't tell you how much I also love to photograph older newborns and babies. The wide eyed gaze your baby will give you when you stroke their cheek is so wonderful to capture!
We slowly made our way to the charming flower Conservatory. I have to admit I have never visited it in person and it's beauty took my breath away. Inside our senses were infused by the breathtakingly beautiful flower display of Tuberous Begonia. It is only on display from February-April. It made for the most incredible backdrop to capture this family with their sweet firstborn babe.
