About the Session:
This family session was photographed by Mary Catherine Photography on a beautiful May morning at the historic Jones Point Park lighthouse in Alexandria, VA. We lucked out with beautiful light (diffused by some wildfire haze) and a lovely cool breeze coming off the Potomac River. This mom and I worked together ahead of time to collaborate on a shared vision. We loved the idea of “old farmhouse” vibes with bare feet, neutral colors and a vintage essence. I love that we were able to keep things simple and focus on the beauty of motherhood.
